This past Sunday (the 17th), the Junior High class decided on a service project they'd like to do as a part of a lesson. The project they chose is able to extend to all the Sunday School classes. So what is it, you ask?
We will be collecting canned food items to donate to Community Hope. The kickoff for this project will be at the Fall Carnival on October 30th. Each class will again collect canned food items (as we did earlier in the year) until the Sunday before Thanksgiving. This information is so fresh, I haven't even had the chance to tell the other classes yet, but start thinking now what you can do to help your class collect the most cans. If heading out to the community and going door-to-door to collect cans sounds like something you'd like to do - remember you'll need your parents' permission and it's important that you not go out by yourself. I'll be sending information home with you next Sunday and we'll talk more about this during Chapel Time. As always, it was great to see all your beautiful faces! Remember, even though we no longer have the "Bible Bucks" store, bringing a friend automatically equals a trip to what once was the Bible Buck Store (if that makes any sense). I hope you have a wonderfully blessed week! Becca
